One Toe Prop with Filler
When should it be used?
If you have a patient with a single toe problem, such as them needing the end of their toe protecting, then consider using a prop.
1 Starting Steps
Start by cutting a small filler pad into shape and place it on the foot.
- This should fit just beneath the toe providing support.
- You can bevel the pad if required.
2 Fitting the Prop
After this, take a larger prop and place it over the top of the filler pad.
- In the video, Jonathan suggests underbevelling one side and top bevelling the rest of the edges.
- The filler and prop can be secured in place using tape or tubular bandage.
